Timeline Therapy looks at shifting/processing past events which are affecting the present moment and future actions. It enables you to live in the moment and move forward with your life. Timeline Therapy gives you distance from troubling memories to enable you to move forward. Timeline Therapy is just as it sounds and takes you back along your timeline to release unhelpful belief systems picked up along the way.
Timeline Therapy works its way through emotions in order starting at anger then moving through to sadness, fear, guilt and conflict. Sessions are conducted in this order due to the relationship of each of these emotions have with each other.
Some people find after the first session they feel an optimum amount of relief and others continue on to make their way through all the listed emotions. Timeline Therapy can vary between 1 – 5 sessions depending on personal circumstances. Timeline Therapy is a process undertaken in conjunction with Hypnotherapy.
